Because of product limitations, 1x7 and 1x8 alder are only available on an accumulation basis, that is, on a first come first serve basis.
These products are square edged and planed (surfaced) on all 4 faces. They are sanded on the face to 150 grit. Therefore, they require little , if any, sanding before staining or clear coating.
